Hi All, been a while since I posted...trying to get ‘back in the saddle’ again, life gets in the way sometimes.

So I’m finishing up a carb rebuild on my 87 Big Red, and have a question about the carb hose configuration, been giving me fits. The manuals (the Clymer and Honda service manual) just didn’t make it clear to me. The best pic I’ve seen yet came from a member here (Quercus) in a post from 4/2018.

So did I get the configuration correct?

OOPS...I posted this in the wrong forum topic area. Is it possible to move it the 85 86 87 Big Red Forum? Or do I need to delete it and start over. I posted using my phone and didn't notice, the interface is quite a bit different when using my phone.

So I found the pic in the manual that I needed, was at the very beginning of the chapter. Not sure why my pics keep posting in the wrong orientation (they are right side up on my computer). Anyway, got the carb rebuild done and installed, and the Big Red fired right up and ran well. Amazing how these Honda motors just wanna run even after setting up for years...running clean no smoke, with good power. I have a lot more to do, but running and driving and back to work is awesome. Just by way of follow up- my Big Red is running awesome now! Finally broke down and bought a battery too, and wonder of wonders the starter works great. So much nicer to start now 😉
