Pinion gear removal tool.
Learned this from a guy on you tube making it for a TRX 300. Works perfect on the ATC 250es.
1 1/2 x 1 1/2 square tubing. Hand file the edges just a little bit. Fits perfect and no damage to the nut. Didn't want to spend 60 dollars in a tool I would use probably once. 75 cents invested. Then use a small brass rod to tap out the pinion gear so you don't damage the gear. Thought I would share incase anyone is in the process of doing this.

Np!
The main pinion bearing is a little more tricky. Needed to tack weld a scrap metal rod to tap it out.
